St. Mary of Magdala On Facebook

Beloved Friends,

It is hard to believe that spring is just around the corner and soon it will be time to begin planning for my feast day of July 22.   Since the Catholic Church has been honoring St. Paul in a special way this year, I would like to share my feast day celebrations with the WOMEN who ministered with St. Paul -- Prisca, Phoebe and Lydia, to name a few.  They were instrumental in building up the early Church yet little is know of them.  They certainly deserve acknowledgment for their hard work, faithfulness and courage, and I am happy to share my day with them.

I hope that you and I together can spread the word about me and my true role as Apostle to the Apostles as well as the women in Paul's ministry and the women today who minister in the Church.  I am getting used to the 21st century and finding new ways to tell the story, so become a fan of me, St. Mary of Magdala, on my own Facebook page.

Look for the annual Mary of Magdala celebration organizing kit on the FutureChurch website after April 1st to help start your planning.

With much rejoicing for the celebrations ahead,
Mary of Magdala
