This Lent, led by the Spirit and rooted in our Gospel values, FutureChurch stands in solidarity with the vulnerable and marginalized in our midst.
Join us for this prayer service with and for our siblings in the LGBTQ+ community who are still struggling for their rightful welcome and inclusion in the church even as they face emerging threats in society. This prayer service will create time for prayerful reflection and offer ways to stand in solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community.
This service will be led by a group of women from the Boston College Clough School of Theology and Ministry who played a key role in publishing an open letter responding to the harms of Dignitas Infinita. Their letter reaffirmed a deep commitment to LGBTQ+ dignity and inclusion in the Church and was celebrated by FutureChurch at our Fall Event in 2024.
